This website is operated by Dr. Melissa Drake, MD, a concierge OB/GYN practice located in Santa Barbara, California. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information with care and discretion.
Information We Collect
We may collect personal information you voluntarily provide when you contact us, complete an inquiry form, or request membership information. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and any details you choose to share.
We do not collect sensitive medical or health information through this website. Any protected health information (PHI) is handled separately under HIPAA guidelines through our secure patient portal and intake process.
How We Use Your Information
Information collected through this website is used solely to respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our practice and membership offerings. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

As a medical practice, we are bound by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Our full Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs the use and disclosure of your protected health information, is provided at the time of enrollment and is available upon request.
Cookies & Analytics
This website uses cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our content, improve the experience, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. The tools below are used:
- Google Analytics 4 & Google Tag Manager — pageview and interaction metrics. No personal information is collected; data is aggregated and anonymized.
- Google Ads — conversion measurement for paid search campaigns. Pixel fires on form submissions to attribute leads to the originating ad click.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measures the effectiveness of any paid social campaigns. Automatic Advanced Matching is disabled, meaning we do not transmit email or phone hashes to Meta.
- Microsoft Clarity — session recordings and heatmaps to help us improve usability. Configured in strict-masking mode: every text input, form field, and visible text element is automatically masked. Clarity records structural interaction (clicks, scrolls, cursor paths) but never captures the contents you type or read.
None of these tools are used to collect Protected Health Information (PHI). PHI is handled separately through our HIPAA-compliant intake and patient communication systems.
You may disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe’s privacy policy governs the handling of payment information. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers.

Right to Know. You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for which it is used, and any third parties with whom it has been shared.
