Dr. Drake devotes as much time as you need—often an hour or more—during each visit, ensuring you feel heard and supported. This is in contrast to the typical 5-10 minutes of a standard OB/GYN appointment. Additionally, Dr. Drake is available between visits for any questions or support you may need via her personal cell phone.

During labor and birth:

Dr. Drake is by your side throughout your entire labor, birth, and postpartum journey, offering 8-20+ hours of continuous care. This is a significant difference from the standard OB/GYN model, where the doctor may only arrive only at the moment of birth and leaves within 20-30 minutes after delivery, sometimes with a rotating or on-call physician you may not have a relationship with.

During the Postpartum Period:

Immediately after birth, Dr. Drake provides hands-on care for 2-3 hours, followed by 1-3 days of support in the hospital. In addition, Dr. Drake offers at least four follow-up postpartum visits, each lasting over an hour, in the comfort of your home. This is a dramatic contrast to the typical 15-minute visit at 6 weeks.
