Board-certified OB/GYN with over 14 years of experience, Dr. Drake brings warmth, clinical excellence, and a deeply personal approach to women's healthcare.
Dr. Melissa Drake, MD, FACOG, has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology since 2011, delivering over 3,000 babies along the way. After years in traditional healthcare, she created a model where women receive the attention they truly deserve - longer appointment times, deeper connections, and care delivered directly to your home.
Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Drake received her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Her training provided a strong foundation in both obstetrics and gynecologic surgery, with an emphasis on complex obstetrical surgery, surgical emergencies, and collaborative hospital care.
Dr. Drake excels at working with hospital teams - including anesthesia, interventional radiology, general surgery, and intensivists - to achieve the absolute best outcomes for her patients.
Dr. Drake is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology — the gold standard in women’s healthcare credentialing.
Dr. Drake has extensive obstetric training that combines the most up-to-date modern technology with the experience and knowledge of natural childbirth techniques. As a result, she emphasizes holistic and intuitive childbirth, teaching her patients to trust themselves and their bodies.
Her approach to concierge care was born from a simple belief: women deserve more than rushed appointments and impersonal care. They deserve a physician who truly knows them, who is available when it matters, and who treats them not as a chart number but as someone she is dearly caring for.
Whether guiding a patient through a high-risk pregnancy, performing minimally invasive surgery, or providing compassionate menopause support, Dr. Drake brings the same level of dedication, warmth, and clinical precision to every encounter.
